The Portland Lesbian Choir is proud to be performing three pieces that were commissioned in memory of the Stonewall riots which was a pivotal time period in LGBTQ+ history and the impetus of today’s annual Pride parades. We sing about activism around AIDS and the many friends we have lost. Most of all we affirm that we have a voice, and we won’t be silenced when it comes to our right to equality and the freedom to be our authentic selves.
